Do you want to make or buy gifts for vegans, but don’t know exactly what? Or are you looking for sustainable, vegan Christmas gifts for your loved ones? I present five very different gift ideas that are vegan and sustainable and can give you many more ideas. All of them are of course also perfect for birthdays and other gift occasions!
Rosmary flavored salt with natural B12 vitamin
My first proposal that you can easily make yourself is for the vegan foodie in your life. I dried rosemary from my garden and cut it very finely with a food processor. You can also finely chop the needles of fresh rosemary with a knife and then let it dry. Mix Himalayan salt (or another salt) with the vitamin B12 powder from veg’N co and the finely chopped dried rosemary. Packed in a jar, your rosemary salt is ready to be put under the Christmas tree.
The veg’n CO products all contain the unique GMO-free, allergen-free and natural vitamin B12. Please note the product can only be ordered in Switzerland at the moment. With my discount code “dwyt2021” you get a 12% discount on the total gross value of the shopping cart.
Home-made gingerbread cookies
Suggestion two of my vegan Christmas gifts are homemade as well but take a bit more time. It is an absolute Christmas classic presented in a contemporary dress: No extra sugar is added with the gingerbread sweetened with dates and applesauce. Full of wholesome ingredients it is a great gift for all lovers of Christmas treats. Here is the recipe – and off you go!

Vegan, 100% natural, plastic free cosmetic products
For proposal three, we move over to the beauty corner for really special, fantastic natural cosmetics. Ringana has been producing care products for more than 25 years, which are not only vegan, natural and plastic-free but are also produced as fresh cosmetics and CO2-neutral. You will never find Ringana products in stores, except in the in-house store in Styria. Natural cosmetic products have a relatively short shelf life of about 6 months when unopened. Therefore, products are produced fresh on order and delivered to you.
When ordering these high-quality environmentally friendly products, mention my name “Rahel Lutz” as your partner to support me and my work as a blogger.
Sustainable fashion and home textiles
Suggestion number four for vegan Christmas gifts calls stylish vegan fashionistas! I usually buy my clothes and household textiles second-hand, but with a few exceptions. When it comes to bed linen, towels, underwear, socks and shoes, I buy new products that are produced sustainably, organically, fairly and C02-neutral whenever possible. Hessnatur even goes one step further and has set the goal to produce nature-positive!
Hessnatur has such a large, wonderful selection of great natural products. Whether it’s something to wear or for your household, you can shop here at Hessnatur with a good environmental conscience. And the best part: You can use the search term “vegan” to find guaranteed vegan products!
Vegan cooking class with Rahel
My cooking classes are the vegan Christmas gift idea number five: I show that vegan cooking is suitable for everyday use and uncomplicated, but still has that certain something. It doesn’t matter whether the participants are experienced vegan chefs looking for new inspiration. Or they are not yet familiar with vegan cuisine and want to learn more about ingredients and products. My courses offer all participants the opportunity to dive into vegan cuisine and cook and bake delicious dishes.
A vegan cooking course is an ideal gift for an (extended) family or a group of friends, which is a lot of fun and has a lasting effect! My courses are very flexible and can be customized. Perhaps a combination course with yoga and vegan cooking is also the perfect gift?
Q&A’s:
There is plenty to choose from: Organic fresh fruit, organic dried fruit, nuts and seeds, fairtrade tea and coffee, vegan chocolate, vegan truffles (yummy!) vegan jams, olives or artichokes in a glass. Vegan wine or champagne is always welcomed in the festive season!
