Vegan cooking classes

Menus of trendy restaurants show: Vegan cuisine has arrived in innovative gastronomy and offers real gourmets and classic connoisseurs delicious dining experiences. But is vegan cooking also suitable for everyday use and can anyone do it?

Who is a vegan cooking class for?

Regardless of whether you, your friends and your family eat vegan, or you are looking for new inspirations for a varied cuisine or you are seeking new culinary horizons: With me you are exactly right for a vegan cooking class.

A vegan cooking class is also ideal as a slightly different gift or as a company event that shows new paths to unknown territory.

The where and how of a class

Offline, my courses can take place all over Switzerland and in the area of Freiburg im Breisgau. Online, more or less everywhere. Whether on- or offline, they are tailored to you and your wishes. They can last a fantastic day long, a course package every Thursday (or other day) in a month, a long weekend or part of a cooking and nutrition coaching.

The course can take place at your home or in a rented kitchen studio. Your home fits well if it is a small group and you like to use your own pots and pans. Plenty space for everyone to spread out is the advantage of a cooking studio. In order to let everyone benefit as much as possible from the course, the number of participants is limited to 10.

The design of a class

The essence of each class is the joy of cooking and the appetite for more: More vegan appetizers, delicious main dishes, and – of course! – delicious desserts and cakes, which are prepared without refined sugar.

Depending on your wishes, I introduce you to vegan cooking with my “vegan basics”. Or we start straight away with the first great recipe. After cooking and baking vegan delicacies together, the most important thing follows: set the tables, sit down and enjoy the meal together! What is more beautiful than a home-cooked dish that tastes wonderful and lets everyone rave about it?

Yoga classes

I teach Ashtanga Yoga Innovation according to the AYI method of Dr. Ronald Steiner. This represents a form of Indian Hata Yoga, which is suitable for yoga beginners and advanced yoga students.

Ashtanga Yoga Innovation (AYI)

I understand yoga as a holistic, moving meditation, during which the breath dances with the body and thus leads to a harmonious interplay.

During my apprenticeship as an AYI Inspired Yoga teacher last year (2020), I could dive deeper into my own yoga practice, which I have been exploring with even more interest and curiosity ever since. In the last few years, I have attended many different yoga classes, tried out diverse yoga styles, and allow inspiration from the diversity of yoga styles. From others types of yoga that are more distant from Ashtanga Yoga, I regularly use inspiration for my classes to make them varied and creative.

I believe that we all have a very individual intuition when it comes to movement. If we learn to listen and trust, then we will find the way leading to more well-being from within. In my yoga classes, I offer a lot of space for intuitive movement and a protected framework for you to become more familiar with yourself.

Below you will find current dates for my classes. Even if there are no classes or workshops scheduled, I have the possibility to hold a class at any time in the Move Yoga room at Hyve in Basel. If you live outside of Basel, I can send you information where classes take place. Online courses are also possible. Please contact with the contact form below to make a plan.

Combo classes – Yoga and cooking

Have you ever thought about balancing body and mind with yoga and vegan food? Then a combination of yoga and cooking classes is the ideal combo for you.

Mindful exercises, balanced food with dishes that are delicious and bring joy, move body, mind and soul in to harmony. Both yoga and vegan nutrition are a journey of discovery. In this journey, I will gladly support you in combo classes with vegan cooking and yoga adapted to your needs.

During our cooking class, we might create a hearty vegan dish. Simultaneously, I introduce vegan basics to you.

How is a combo class structured?

My combo classes naturally include body and mind. On the one hand, there is a healthy, vegan diet that tastes good and is a pure joy to eat. On the other side, there is a conscious listening to your body and the discovering and developing of a powerful and flowing yoga practice. Together, they are the ideal foundation for your harmony and well-being.

My training in Ashanta Yoga Innovation, my further qualification in different areas of yoga therapy and my extensive experience in vegan cooking offer you a unique spectrum.

How long does a combo class take?

This is up to you: From a single afternoon, to regular appointments to a whole weekend, everything is possible and viable by arrangement. This combo is a great, very individual gift – to your loved one or to yourself.

Are you looking for a nutrition plan or recipe ideas? Don’t look any further, I am your perfect nutrition partner. It even does not matter where you are at home. The right nutrition plan is crucial, especially for all who are suffering from allergies or intolerances. I put your individual nutrition plan together and you can look forward to delicious dishes.

If you are looking for holistic relaxation, I recommend the fasting hiking and yoga retreat in the beautiful Black Forest, which will take place from 1 to 7 October 2021. During this week, you will enjoy walking in the beautiful Black Forest, recharging your batteries with yoga and experience gentle interval fasting. Naturally, a healthy, vegan diet will be a part of your relaxation week. I will cook the meals, if requested, together with the participants. You will learn how to prepare vegan, healthy and balanced food, while you are watching or preparing.
