How can you make home made vegan chocolate with dates? The process is remarkably easy and fast! This recipe is my current favorite! I eat this vegan chocolate often as a sweet dessert or use it as a topping on my breakfast bowls or add them to my sweetened hummus.

Pimp my Chocolate: The vegan way
If you want the extra bit of valuable micronutrients, you can add chopped nuts, seeds, and superfoods into your chocolate dough before letting it sit in the fridge. Superfoods are foods with many healthy micronutrients and secondary plant products which support your immune system if eaten on a regular basis. Superfood includes items such as ginger, turmeric, chlorella alga, spirulina, kale, maca, goji berries, chia seeds and many more.
If you add superfoods to your vegan chocolate, you create individual and special flavors. In my opinion, the “Forever Beautiful” mix by Yoursuperfoods fits perfectly to this vegan chocolate and adds a nice flavor to it! Try it yourself!
Not long ago I’ve ordered the one bundle by Yoursuperfoods and since then add a teaspoon of it in my cereal or a cup of soy or oat drink, or into sweet snacks, such as my homemade vegan chocolate on a daily basis.
But for the vegan chocolate, “Forever Beautiful” is adding the best flavor. It tastes very fruity and adds a specific acidic balance to the extremely sweet vegan chocolate, thanks to the acai berry which is included in this powder.
These superfood mixes taste really good, and I have the feeling they support my strength and overall health.

Healthy and vegan chocolate without refined sugar
Yes, that is possible! To be honest, I myself had been a sugar junkie. Since I made a sugar detox, I am pretty consequent (besides some conscious exceptions) and am not eating foods with refined sugar in it anymore.
I have better control over food cravings and my mood swings. But I don’t want to quit chocolate completely. That’s why I created this easy and fast recipe out of ingredients I have available in my house anyways.
Dates are sweet, as they contain fructose. But besides fructose they offer valuable micronutrients and fibers. That leads to a way slower rise in blood sugar than with refined sugar. That way, the so called “sugar crush” crashes not too hard and too fast.
But enough talking. Here is my recipe! Feel free to contact me or write your opinion in the comments!

Bye for now! Have fun and enjoy snacking! Yours, Rahel ;P

I’ve made this yummy chocolate almost 10 times now. I’m making another batch today and I’m tripling the recipe because it’s that good. I’m adding hazelnut butter and bananas today! I usually add chopped pecans and chunky salt.
