This recipe is easy to plan and, even if it needs a bit of time, easy to prepare and bake. Simply follow the steps in the recipe.

This recipe for a healthy vegan pizza with hemp protein brings back the fun of pizza baking and will bring you many compliments. Among others also from athletes with an increased protein requirement.

Hemp protein in the vegan cuisine

You probably know the opinion that all vegans suffer from protein deficiency. Thanks to a balanced diet with various legumes, nuts and grains, the protein requirement is covered pretty quickly. A great supplement is hemp protein, a high-quality plant-based protein with an ideal amino acid profile. Hemp protein is so valuable that you could nourish yourself on it for many months without even the slightest nutrient deficiency. However, as a friend of good taste and conviviality, I would rather suggest it as a supplement 😀.

Healthy Vegan Pizza With Hemp Protein
This vegan Pizza with a hemp protein base is well worth the preparation time: it looks stunning and tastes even better!

Tastes great and is all but heavy

Exactly, because this pizza does not require fatty cheese that sits like a brick in your stomach, even your non-vegan friends will appreciate the healthy dish. Thanks to the yeast flakes, you don’t have to do without the typical cheese taste. Added to hot dishes, yeast flakes makes them smoother and creamier and give them savory flavors.

Success lies in tranquillity

Crucial in dough production are the resting times of the dough. Without them or with too short ones, the dough becomes hard and can never reach the desired fluffiness. Take your time and give time to your dough to become the perfect base for your vegan protein pizza. Taking about tranquillity: Whilst the dough is resting, you have time to visit my personal blog and read about yoga and vegan lifestyle.

Can I replace the pepper?

Yes, simply add a seasonal vegetable like green asparagus or broccoli. Cut them into stripes or little florets. Ideally blanch the veggies before placing them on the pizza.
