A slightly different pizza with a Broccoli base – utterly delicious, vegan and healthy!

This pizza ticks all the boxes!

All Italians will please forgive me for calling my broccoli base “pizza base”. It helps without complicated explanations to understand, what I mean when I talk about this pizza with its special base.

My vegan broccoli pizza base has it all: It’s gluten-free, low-carb, paleo and of course, vegan. In addition to broccoli, I use chickpea flour and flaxseed. Not to forget the taste: If the broccoli is roasted, it develops a lot of flavors, which I really like.

For the topping, you can use your favorite vegetables for your tailor-made pizza with a broccoli base. It tastes delicious with tofu, which also provides more protein to the dish. For the typical cheesy pizza taste, you can use vegan cheese, which you can easily make yourself from cashew nuts. Or you use olive oil and fine yeast flakes, which intensify your taste experience.

Since you can use (almost) all of the broccoli for your low-carb broccoli pizza base, this recipe is definitely in the spirit of “Don’t waste” and with its fantastic taste for sure a “your taste“!
